NOTES: This watch belongs to a rare commemorative series made to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Idemitsu, which is why it features a special case back engraved in Japanese around the classic gold Grand Seiko medallion. One of the most curious features of this watch is that, unlike practically all vintage Seikos, the reference and serial number are not engraved on the outside of the case back, but on its inside. As it is a commemorative case back, Seiko moved both inscriptions there.
