5-STAR SELLER! I bought a late 1930s - early 1940s Gallet Multichron 30M chronograph from Watches83 in January 2025. In the current era of internet, collecting vintage watches has become a popular hobby ( or call it a passion). Due to that popularity, the number of questionable vintage watch sellers has risen to a problematic height. Have a look Ebay, or on the numerous watchgroups on Facebook: there is no way you can be sure NOT to be fooled by the seller. Wrong parts (so called Franken watches), painted-over dials, damaged watches, fake movements, and entire fake watches. I have been a collector of vintage watches since 30 years back, and I dare say there is almost no way one can buy a vintage watch online in an honest and safe way. That is why you have to buy the seller. In other words: you need to able to have full trust in the selling company or person. Watches83 is a heaven for vintage watch collectors. Watches83 is THE big exception: they sell at honest pieces, they will explain the exact condition of each watch on their website. I have bought approximately 10 watches so far, so I should know! I mean if I say you can trust them!
